As expected, the Dodgers took until the absolute very last second to make this decision, so much so that this didn’t even become public until 34 minutes after the 10am ET deadline. But finally, we have a roster:

Pitchers (11)
SP (4) — Clayton KershawZack GreinkeHyun-jin RyuRicky Nolasco
RP (7) — Kenley JansenBrian WilsonJ.P. HowellRonald BelisarioPaco RodriguezChris Withrow, Chris Capuano

Hitters (14)
C (2) — A.J. EllisTim Federowicz
IF (6) — Adrian GonzalezMark EllisHanley RamirezJuan UribeNick PuntoMichael Young
OF (4) — Carl CrawfordYasiel PuigSkip SchumakerScott Van Slyke
PH (1) — Andre Ethier
PR (1 )— Dee Gordon

Pretty close to what we expected, really, but with the great news that Gordon did in fact make it over Jerry Hairston, which I find shocking but exciting — it’s absolutely the right move.

Capuano did end up making it over Edinson Volquez, which I considered to be something of a toss-up, but as the last pitcher in the bullpen it’s not super relevant. No Brandon League, no Carlos Marmol, no Hairston… considering the options available, this is about the best we could have hoped for, I think.
